Account Executive to Federal Government Civilian Agencies

Job Description:

The Account Executive (AE) will be responsible for prospecting, proposing and closing new business revenue in the Civilian Agencies. Sales calls will be made on the Civilian Agencies CIO contacts and executive levels of system integrator teaming partners. The AE is capture manager for leading a team to respond to RFP’s. Qualified candidates will have recent relevant work experience in voice and data networking sales organizations, with a record of sales success to Civilian Agencies. The candidate must possess knowledge, and proven skills in calling on CIO level and teaming partner executive level decision influencers. A high level knowledge of voice, data, VoIP and networking technologies is required. Qualified candidates will be able to provide best-in-class technologies from leading partners such as Nortel Networks, Cisco, and Avaya. The successful Account Executive candidate will demonstrate experience and aptitude for aggressively calling on new customer prospects.

Candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well within all levels of an organization. The candidate must have excellent written and verbal communications skills. We are seeking a top-notch sales executive with at least seven years experience working within Civilian Agencies. Federal agencies are increasingly requiring Secret level clearances for admission to their facilities; therefore added consideration will be provided if the individual also has a current security clearance.
